The problem we set out to fix
The inside of an appliance gets dirty where you can't see it. Grease, mineral deposits, detergent residue and odours build up in the washer's outer tub, around the dishwasher filter, in the coffee maker's water lines and in the garburator's grinding chamber. You don't see it, but you notice it: a smell when you open the door, coffee that tastes a little off, a film on glasses.
Keeping up is the hard part, for two reasons:
- It's easy to forget. Unless the machine flashes a reminder, the first sign is usually the smell, and by then the buildup has had months to settle in.

How the BLITZ range fits together
Tablets, one per machine. Each goes into the empty appliance for one cycle:
- Washing Machine Cleaner & Descaler: one tablet in the empty drum (not the drawer), hottest cycle or Tub Clean. Front-load, top-load and HE. Unscented.
- Dishwasher Cleaner & Deodorizer: one tablet in the detergent compartment of an empty dishwasher, one normal cycle. Light lemon scent.
- Coffee Maker Cleaner: dissolve a tablet in the reservoir, run a cleaning or descaling cycle, rinse. Pod (including K-Cup), drip and espresso machines.

- Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaner: one tablet in the tank (not the bowl) lasts up to 30 days or 300 flushes and helps keep a new ring from forming. Scrub a heavy ring off once first.
Two products for surfaces. Mold Stain Remover is a gel that lifts black and pink stains from the surface of caulk, grout and washer or fridge seals: apply it on a dry surface, leave it 3 to 5 hours, wipe it off.
Wear gloves and eye protection, and never use it with another cleaner. Home Ceramic Coating leaves an invisible water-repellent finish on stainless steel, glass, granite and tile, so fingerprints, water spots and soap scum wipe away faster, for up to 12 months.
